Repulse Bay

Located on the southside of Hong Kong Island, Repulse Bay offers a getaway from busy city living to a more relaxed lifestyle.
This prestigious area boasts pristine beaches and palm trees that exude a resort-like ambience. Though it is only a 15 minute drive from Central, it feels worlds away. The boundaries of Repulse Bay stretch over the hill of Wang Nai Chung Gap Road, around Hong Kong Parkview to the last residences on Repulse Bay Road. There are a variety of housing options varying from medium to large size apartments, townhouses and stand-alone houses. It is one of the most upmarket and desirable areas for family living in Hong Kong. A few notable developments are Repulse Bay Apartments and The Repulse Bay. These apartments overlook the famous Repulse Bay Beach. Adjacent to these developments is the Repulse Bay Plaza, a colonial-style shopping area with shops, supermarkets and cafés. Whilst there is no MTR to Repulse Bay, the double decker buses are plentiful and direct to Central. Most of the buses come from Stanley, through Repulse Bay on route to Central. There are also mini-buses en route to and from Stanley to Central, Aberdeen and Causeway Bay. Bus routes 6, 6X, 6A and 260 leave from Central and 63 & 65 from Causeway Bay/Tin Hau.
