District
Kennedy Town
Kennedy Town is situated on the northwestern coast of Hong Kong Island. It was named after Arthur Edward Kennedy, the governor of Hong Kong in 1886, when the land was reclaimed from the government.
With the completion of the new Kennedy Town MTR station, the area has seen sweeping changes in the past few years with modern high-rise developments, restaurants and bars continuously popping up. The Merton, Cadogan and Lexington Hill are among the new developments that have been recently completed. The Belchers is a well-established luxury development that offers a comprehensive range of clubhouse facilities. In addition, there is a wide range of oceanfront service apartments, such as Manhattan Heights.
