Happy Valley
Happy Valley was initially known as Wong Nai Chung Valley, named after the river collecting waters from Wong Nai Chung Gap and surroundings. It is a tranquil area with an eclectic mix of local and expatriate residents.
There are high-rise, midrise and low-rise developments. There are a few luxury developments, such as The Leighton Hill that offers open views across the racetrack, and The Altitude, which is to be completed soon. Furthermore, a range of service apartments are available, including The Ellipsis and Eaton House. The area is well-served by bus routes to Causeway Bay MTR. District Highlights: -The Hong Kong Jockey Club headquarters and the Hong Kong racing museum are situated in this area. There are rugby & football fields as well as a jogging trail within the track. - Happy Valley is home to The Football Club, Craigengower Cricket Club and The Hong Kong Jockey Club. - In the Happy Valley Village?? there are a range of restaurants, boutique shops, bars and supermarkets catering to expats. In addition, there is a three-storey local wet market with fresh produce and dai pai dong local restaurants.
